Stafford Workshop March 2016
lt is with huge pride that we are now able to say that we are the only newborn trainers to be officially approved by The National Photographic Society, as we have passed their stringent safety standards while working with newborns.
"I recently attended the newborn safety and posing workshop in Stafford and loved it more than I thought I was going to. lt''s given me the push to launch my business sooner rather than later. From start to end it was full of useful information that will boost your confidence and get you ready for your own business. Maddy, Shellie and Rob were all there to answer any question you had. Maddy and Shellie teach you how to pose properly and safely for the baby and exactly how they would do it. It's given me the bug now and I can't wait to learn more and keep developing my photography. Thank you , Rebecca Senior"
In March we visited Stafford and were hosted by Fran Stephenson Photography. Fran has a super set of props, so we had fun planning our set ups. The trainees were a friendly and keen bunch as always.
The morning started with Shellie showing pose flow twice. The first time she did so without stopping to show the flow clearly. Then she redid pose flow showing each pose in more detail, and to allow trainees to take some images of their own.
After pose flow, Maddy showed wraps, and container transitioning, along with how to keep baby safe in containers.
In the afternoon Rob took over and showed maternity posing and lighting with our lovely maternity model.
Shellie was on wardrobe duty
We also welcomed a StandInBaby and this proved hugely useful for Rob to be able to demonstrate parent lighting.
