HOW THE WORKSHOP WILL WORK
During the workshops you will learn the basics of using natural light, assisted with continuous lighting if necessary, safe and natural posing, wrapping, soothing and calming the baby, as well as how to smoothly use new techniques in pose flowing, and safety shots.
There will also be lessons on basic business techniques, marketing, and of course, editing.
The goody bag will contain props, posing guides, actions for PS and also business templates.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
All skill levels are welcome, but it is assumed that you will have a basic understanding of manual DSLR settings, including shutter speeds, aperture and ISO settings. Knowledge of Photoshop is preferable.
You will need to bring your own DSLR and lens. All the mentors primarily use a 50mm lens with newborns so that would be our recommendation, however, if you are happy to work with a different lens, that’s fine by us. Please remember extra memory cards and batteries.
If you have a laptop we would recommend you bring it with you as you may find it useful for working alongside the mentors during the editing session.
